The weather was far from accommodating this week, given it’s spring and everything. Still, Hillsboro’s youth were scouting the park out and shooting baskets in driveways. Hillsboro and the Red River Valley isn’t promised warm weather until Monday, when daytime temperatures are forecast to climb back into the 50s. It might be in the 60s by Tuesday. Don’t look for the highs to get out of the 40s this weekend. But that doesn’t mean boys can’t be boys and ride bike or shoot baskets After all, it is spring. It just doesn’t always feel like spring. Riding bike to the park and back Tuesday evening were Dusten Weigel, Caleb Stammen, Jesse Neumann and Tim Morris. Shooting baskets were Sammy and Nick Preston.
