After agreeing to take the job last Tuesday, Chad Culp on Friday said he wasn’t accepting the county’s offer of road and bridge superintendent.
Traill County commissioners offered the 31-year-old Shelly man the job April 1.
He contacted auditor Becca Bratten three days later, saying he wouldn’t be taking the job.
Traill’s five commissioners are expected to renew discussions on the vacancy at the highway department Tuesday morning in Hillsboro.
