Skateboarders took their case for a skateland in Hillsboro to the streets Wednesday. Truth is, while the boys would like nothing better than a place of their own, an argument they would rather someone else made for them, Wednesday’s weather was too nice to pass up.

Many homeowners in the city would like the skateboarders to find a track they can call home, too. Better there than our driveways, homeowners are saying.

Meanwhile, motorists skirted the skateboarders this week while the boys on boards challenged Hillsboro’s streets.
