HHS senior class graduating Sunday

Hillsboro High School will mark the graduation of the Class of 2007 Sunday, May 27 with commencement exercises at 2 p.m. at the Hillsboro Events Center.
Forty-one seniors will receive diplomas. The class valedictorian is Kendra Leidholm, daughter of Dwayne and Jan Leidholm. Jaime Rue is class salutatorian. She is the daughter of Paul and Kathleen Rue.
Honor students include: Kristen Eblen, Christen Olson, Ashley Webster, Kevin Reinpold, Janelle Mueller, Jacob Luithle, Daniel Erickson, Benjamin Gordon, Ashley Haines, Molly Breen and Danyel Miller. These students have maintained grade point averages of 3.5 or higher.
Other graduates are Haley Ambuehl, Brandi Anderson, Keith Asheim, Jake Baumgartner, Lindsey Berg, Zachary Berg, Dean Deck, Kent Fikse, Bria Fugleberg, Zachary Gion, Stephanie Halvorson, Catherine Heinen, Mary Huotari, Terry Kier, Christopher Knecht, Lyndsey Kuntz, Mary Lambert, Cassie Larson, Heather Larson, Gustin Lee, Ashley McNamee, Andrew Mikkelsen, Brittany Mooney, Megan Mueller, Daniel Rude, Kari Schuh, Jennifer Schulz and Lee Siegert.
The top eight students in the junior class will serve as marshals for the graduation ceremony. They are Maggie McLean, Laura Schumacher, Elissa Reimer, Katrina Meyer, Erin Mooney, Kiley Coles, Derek Zerface and Chandell Linden.
The Class of 2007 chose as its motto a line from the movie Forrest Gump — “Life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you’re going to get.”
A salute to the HHS Class of 2007 from the business community is printed on pages 8-9.
